The Komon series reaches more than 300 years back in history as it is inspired by ancient Japanese decorations. The word komon means kimono in Japanese and is a reference to the beautiful patterns found on traditional Japanese kimonos. This range combines ancient Japanese patterns with Scandinavian elegance creating ornamented yet aesthetically strict tiles with a strong emphasis on graphic patterns. We are proud to say that the Komon series has been our trademark series since the earliest days of Made a Mano.
The Komon range is fully-glazed making us able to produce it in terracotta versions as well as lava stone versions.
All of the above patterns are available in these colours.
All Komon patterns are available on terracotta and on lava stone.
Our terracotta tiles are produced in sizes 10×10, 15×15, 20×20 and 30×30 cm.
Our lava stone products can be produced in almost all shapes and sizes up to 150×360 cm.
Komon lava stone tiles are typically produced in 10×10, 15×15, 20×20, 30×30, 40×40 and 60×60 cm.
