Novecento

Fusioned ornamentation

Ornamented and colourful, the Novecento series is heavily inspired by traditional Sicilian tiles. The first range of Novecento builds on the rich Italian tradition for great hand craftsmanship, referencing among other key points the stairs in Caltagirone, the city of the original Made a Mano production facility.

The visual language is elegantly decorated making Novecento a popular tile for our more courageous customers. The different sizes and colours can be mixed and matched endlessly. Truly a candy store for the creative.

The Made a Mano Novecento tiles are made from lava stone from Etna. The glazing is fused with the stone during a burning proces over 3-10 days in a custom built oven, creating one of the strongest and most durable types of stone in the world, and by far the most exclusive. The tiles resist temperatures from -60 degrees celcius to hearth warmth.
